SLEEP & INSOMNIA
Sleep care thats adressing the
root.
3 am waking that has run for months. The hour-long descent into sleep that used to take ten. Light sleep that leaves you tired by mid-morning. Sleep medication that worked at first and stopped working, or works but leaves a fog that’s worse than the tiredness. The patterns where the body has lost the rhythm of sleep itself.
“After just one treatment, my sleep improved significantly and my back pain feels so much better. His calm presence and intuitive approach made me feel completely relaxed and cared for.”
— Dulce B.

Sleep is one of the things Chinese medicine reads in remarkable detail. The hour you wake at, the way you wake, the dreams or absence of them, whether you fall asleep easily but wake in the middle or struggle from the start. Each pattern points to a different underlying cause. The integrated reading at your first visit names which combination your specific pattern is asking for.

Lineage Acupuncture
01
Sleep disturbances rarely arise in isolation. They are often connected to patterns involving the nervous system, hormones, digestion, stress response, circulation, or constitutional imbalance. Through pulse and tongue diagnosis, acupuncture identifies these patterns and helps regulate the body's internal systems, supporting a return to balance. Many patients notice improvements in sleep quality, ease of falling asleep, or fewer night-time awakenings as the body begins to regulate itself more effectively.
Shiatsu
02
Shiatsu offers a direct way of listening to the body through touch. By assessing tension patterns, breathing, abdominal diagnosis, posture, and nervous system tone, it helps identify where the body remains stuck in a state of vigilance, restlessness, or internal stress. Treatment combines meridian work, acupressure, fascial release, joint mobilization, and nervous system regulation to release accumulated tension and restore a deeper sense of safety, balance, and rest. Many patients describe feeling calmer, more grounded, and able to access deeper, more restorative sleep alredy after the first session.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
03
Chinese herbal medicine addresses the deeper constitutional patterns that may contribute to poor sleep. Whether related to hormonal transitions, chronic stress, nervous system depletion, recovery after illness, digestive imbalance, or long-standing sleep disturbances, formulas are tailored to the individual and adjusted as the condition changes. Working continuously between treatments, herbal medicine supports the body's natural regulatory processes and helps create lasting change in the patterns underlying disturbed sleep.
Integrative Bodywork
04
Some sleep disturbances persist even when the physical body appears exhausted. The mind remains active, emotions remain unresolved, and the nervous system continues to hold patterns of stress, vigilance, or internal conflict beneath conscious awareness. Integrative Bodywork combines Shiatsu, structural bodywork, energetic healing, and mind-body awareness to work with these deeper layers.
Through touch, presence, and careful observation, treatment explores how emotional stress, unconscious holding patterns, past experiences, and energetic imbalances may be expressed within the body. By releasing tension on physical, emotional, and energetic levels, many patients experience a profound sense of calm, inner spaciousness, and reconnection with themselves, creating the conditions for deeper, more restorative sleep to arise naturally.
Finally, sleep care that reads what’s underneath.
